The adjustable telescopic shaft is a big win too because it meant I could set it to a height that felt natural without bending over. What I really liked was the fact it comes with two batteries. I used one while the other charged, so there was no waiting around, and both lasted long enough to finish the whole front and back garden. I’ve tried all four blade types and they’re surprisingly effective – the plastic ones are fine for grass, while the metal ones tackled weeds and rougher patches without any fuss. Even the circular saw blade managed small woody stalks and brambles near the fence line. Assembly was straightforward, although the manual was a bit vague. Once it's up and running though, it does the job really well. I’d say it’s ideal for anyone who wants a flexible garden tool that doesn’t take up loads of space in the shed. Looks-wise, it’s basic but neat and easy to store. For under £100, with batteries and blades included, I really can't fault it.

To be fair, it’s actually quite decent. Straight out of the box, it came as a complete set – two batteries, charger, a variety of blade types, goggles, gloves – everything you need. No need to hunt down extra bits, which was a relief. At 2.5kg, it’s light enough to use without feeling like you’ve just come out of a gym session, even if you’re tackling weeds for a full hour. The telescopic handle is a thoughtful feature – I’m 6'4"", and didn’t have to bend over like some gardening version of Quasimodo. My son gave it a go as well (under supervision, of course) and the built-in safety mechanisms kept my nerves intact. As for performance, it does the job. It handles everyday lawns and tougher patches just fine, provided you’re using the appropriate blades. That said, I wouldn’t recommend forcing it through anything too thick – it’s not a chainsaw. Some parts do feel a bit plasticky, and though it’s advertised as having tool-free blade switching, it can be fiddly, especially when your hands are tired. In short, it’s not made for commercial use, but if you’ve got a modest garden or need to take care of a bit of overgrowth round the back of your mum’s place in Falkirk, it works well enough. Fair value for the price – just keep in mind it’s a trimmer, not heavy-duty equipment.

I am happy with this strimmer and have used it already. It works well as the power of the blade rotation is good and it cuts long grass but you need to be careful grass doesn’t get caught in it. Battery life is not so long but I used it as soon as I opened the box so they might not have been fully charged. That also gives me an excuse not to cut the grass for too long !! The glasses that come with aren’t great (polite way of saying useless !!) and I can’t use as too small. The instruction manual isn’t clear. Picture of that included. The pictures are too difficult to see what you have to do ……. Fortunately I could figure it out but took some time. It’s not the most sturdy as I have to have it at its longest as I’m over 6ft but it is good value and does the job. I would recommend if you aren’t expecting industrial standard.

Whilst the parts look to be good quality , the instructions for assembly are worse than useless. The leaflet asks you to use online instructions but doesn’t provide a url. Unless the sellers provide a link, something that is potentially useful, is completely useless.

It comes with a high-speed 12,000 RPM motor, giving substantial power for various strimming jobs. I have used it for both long grass and weeds and it has performed perfectly. The strimmer comes with two 21V 4.0Ah lithium-ion batteries which is great at giving me longer portable use. The telescopic shaft adjusts from 33 to 47 inches making it suitably for people of all height and ensuring comfortable use without bending over. The trimmer head rotates 90°, allowing for precise edging and access to hard-to-reach areas. I love the options of blade choices. My previous one only had plastic which isn't ideal for heavier tasks. This model gives me three types of blades, plastic for light trimming, metal for tougher weeds, and a saw blade for thicker branches. Swapping the blades is easy to do. This is a great garden tool.

If I have any complaints, it’s about the instruction leaflet that comes with it. There is a clear instructions about what NOT to do, but very grainy pictures only, on how to set it up, but in all honesty, it’s pretty simple. The battery lasts a lot longer than any past strimmer I’ve had, and there’s two. The plastic blades are more than adequate for the grass, and there’s two metal blades destroy light wooded plants like Ivy and privet hedge. Easy to clean, and I had a very satisfied feeling about a well priced garden tool that gets the job done. The blades are easy to swap round, and extending the length of the chrome shaft is very simple push button and extending.
